Overview
The TheraGym Square Platform Swing offers many multi-sensory opportunities with extra stabilising features. A hanging disc keeps the swing moving uniformly, while a carpeted platform helps keep clients in place during activity.
With a single suspension point, the platform can move in different planes, increasing vestibular input and challenge. Users can sit, kneel, lie or stand depending on their skills. The hardy solid Baltic birch base has a smooth edge for safety and a soft, removable carpet pad, and a safety snap is included. Weight capacity is 360 kg (800 lbs).
Sensory integration therapy should be delivered by suitably trained and qualified practitioners; the swing is designed for controlled therapeutic movement and is not a toy.
