Overview

The Wipe-Clean™ Weighted Blanket brings the calming deep pressure of a weighted blanket to environments where laundry is impractical and hygiene is critical. Its royal blue fabric is waterproof, breathable, tear-resistant, anti-microbial and flame-resistant (Class A barrier), yet soft to the touch.

Stitching is kept to the outer edges so there are no seams across the surface to trap dirt; staff simply wipe it with disinfectant soap or a fabric-safe cleaner and rinse with a damp cloth. Inside, non-toxic, lead-free and phthalate-free PET pellets sit in individually sewn chambers to keep the weight even, and a contoured neck keeps the user's face clear.

Five sizes are available, from XS (around 3 years) to XL (16 years to adult). Weighted products should be selected with advice from a qualified therapist; a common guideline is 15–25% of the user's body weight, and the user must be able to remove the blanket independently. Not recommended for people with reduced strength due to age or illness. Not machine washable.
