Overview
A water mattress placed directly on the floor can be difficult for less mobile users to get onto and off. The Water Mattress Platform solves this by raising a double Rompa water mattress on a strong, supportive wooden base, bringing it to a more comfortable working height for transfers and for staff positioning users.
The platform is covered in wipe-clean vinyl in a colour chosen at the time of order, so it can be matched to the rest of the sensory room. For settings that use mobile or ceiling hoists, the platform can be built with hoist-access cut-outs; the number and position of these are specified when ordering.
Each platform is custom manufactured to specification. Free colour swatches are available from Rompa.
