Overview
The Textured Gel Alphabet makes letter learning tactile. Each of the 26 upper-case letters can be squeezed, stroked, traced with a finger and moved around, helping children connect the shape of a letter with how it feels, which is particularly helpful for multi-sensory literacy approaches and for learners who benefit from hands-on activities.
At about 10.5 cm tall, the letters are easy for young hands to grasp and arrange into names and simple words. They come in six colours and two textures, making them useful for sorting and matching activities as well as phonics. Suitable for classroom or home practice from 3 years, under adult supervision.
