Overview

The Portable Midi Bubble Tube takes the sensory appeal of a bubble tube out of the fixed sensory room. Powered by a rechargeable low-voltage battery, it can be carried to a bedside, a classroom table, a therapy cubicle or a ward bay, and set up wherever it is needed rather than wherever the sockets happen to be.

The 73 cm column, 10 cm in diameter, is lit by maintenance-free LEDs that give bright, appealing colour comparable to spotlight-lit tubes. A full charge gives roughly three to four hours of use, and a battery charger is supplied.

For interactive work, the tube can be connected to Rompa's Super Interactive Switch Box (code 17274), allowing users to start effects themselves and practise cause and effect. Note that it is not compatible with Rompa Wi-Fi switches or products. The tube is latex-free.
