Rompa® Interactive Lighting System – 8 Beam

Rompa's Interactive Lighting System lets users create sound and visual effects simply by moving through beams of coloured light. Passing a hand, foot or reflective bat through a beam triggers a note, sound effect, image or video clip, so even very small or uncoordinated movements can produce a clear, rewarding response.

The pre-programmed software includes interactive music games, an OptiCalculator for number play, timer control and other musical features, and it can be updated. Because the beams are fixed overhead, there are no cables or floor hardware to trip over, keeping the space hygienic and uncluttered. The coloured beams also act as visual reference points.

The 8-beam package includes a PC or laptop, Optibeams with long-life low-voltage bulbs, OptiMusic control box and software, reflective bats and floor pads, all cables and manuals. A projector and screen can be added for wall projection, and fixed installation is available through Rompa. Therapists use it to build cause and effect, hand-eye co-ordination, motor, listening and musical skills.
