Overview
The Beano Swing is a robust, waterproof nylon bag filled with polystyrene beans. Users sit astride it, gripping the swing between their thighs and resting on the bean-bag seat, which moulds around them for a secure, comfortable ride.
Holding on while the swing moves works the inner thigh and core muscles and provides strong vestibular and proprioceptive input. The simple shape makes it a good introduction to suspended equipment for children who are cautious about swinging. Colours may vary.
Sensory integration therapy should be delivered by suitably trained and qualified practitioners; the swing is designed for controlled therapeutic movement and is not a toy.
