Overview

The ITO US-751 is a dedicated therapeutic ultrasound unit from ITO Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation (Japan). It operates at 1 MHz for deeper tissues and 3 MHz for superficial structures, in continuous mode up to 2 W/cm² or pulsed mode (5–50% duty cycle at 16, 48 or 100 Hz) up to 3 W/cm².

Two probes can be connected at once — a large 37.5 mm head (5.0 cm² ERA) for broad areas and a small 16 mm head for narrow areas — both multi-frequency and water-protected to IPX7. A low beam non-uniformity ratio helps deliver even energy, probe-contact lights on the handpiece and main unit confirm coupling, and coupling sensitivity can be set for standard or medicated gel. Treatment areas are chosen on a body diagram from 42 preset parameters.
