The SY-HRC12 glove, distributed by ITO, uses three built-in pump drives to move the fingers firmly through flexion and extension, with nine intensity levels to match each stage of recovery. Six training modes, including passive, extension, fine-motor, functional, mirror and pinch training, support progression from early passive movement to task practice, and static stretching helps reduce muscle tone and gain range of motion.
In mirror mode a wireless Bluetooth data glove on the healthy hand drives the robotic glove on the affected hand, applying principles such as bilateral synergy, motor relearning and motor imagery. The 775 g main unit has a rechargeable battery, so therapy can continue at the bedside or at home, and gloves come in several sizes.
The manufacturer lists hand dysfunction from stroke, brain injury, cerebral palsy, finger trauma and orthopaedic surgery as indications.
Who it is for: neurological rehabilitation centres, hospitals and occupational and physiotherapy clinics in Dubai and the UAE.
Medical and therapy equipment should be selected and used under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional. Specifications are provided by the manufacturer and may change; please confirm before ordering.
