Overview

ITO's direct moxa line is made from selected mugwort for practitioners of traditional direct moxibustion. Gold Mountain is the top grade: very fine, with high essential-oil content that ITO says makes it less likely to burn the skin, and produced in limited quantities. Fukuju is a medium grade for everyday professional use. Yomei is highly cohesive, so it holds well on needles, and also serves as a standard-grade direct moxa.

Compact Gold Mountain and Fukuju sets each contain 10 g of loose moxa and five incense sticks, convenient for clinic rooms or home visits.
