Overview
The Talking Cube is a soft, throwable cube that combines communication, learning and environmental control. Each of its six faces can be given its own recording, in any language, so when the cube is rolled it announces the colour, symbol, photo or word showing on top. Transparent pockets on every side hold pictures, symbols or photographs, making it easy to adapt to each user's communication system.
It also works as a wireless controller for Rompa products: depending on the face that lands uppermost, it can change or activate an individual bubble tube, wall panel or light source, or all compatible equipment in the room. That gives users with fine or gross motor difficulties or visual impairment a big, easy way to make choices and see results.
Teachers and therapists use it for turn-taking games, number and dice activities, movement prompts and vocabulary work. It needs no PC, programming or internet access and is supplied complete. Approx. 30 x 30 x 30 cm. Compatible with Rompa products only.
