Type: Under-desk footrest

Overview

The Rock and Roller Footrest sits under a desk and rocks back and forth as the student moves their feet. It offers a discreet, silent way to fidget, so students who need movement can get it without leaving their seat or disturbing others.

Quiet foot movement can help some learners maintain attention during longer tasks, and the footrest also encourages a more comfortable seated posture.

Flexible, sensory-friendly furniture lets teachers give students a choice in how they sit, stand or move during lessons – an approach often recommended by occupational therapists for learners with sensory processing differences, attention difficulties or autism. ENZYM can help plan inclusive classrooms and calm areas. Contact ENZYM for available sizes, colours and dimensions.
