PHS Ramp & Curb Ambulation Training Set (WCCT)

The Ramp and Curb Training Set (WCCT) prepares patients for the kerbs and slopes they meet outside the clinic, whether walking with an aid or practising wheelchair skills. It combines an adjustable ramp with stair-style curbs so difficulty can be increased step by step as the patient progresses.

Three curbs, measuring 32 × 32 × 2, 36 × 32 × 4 and 40 × 40 × 6 inches, stack in 2-inch rises to an overall height of 8 inches and store beneath the platform when not in use, keeping the footprint (84 × 44 × 8 inches) tidy. Construction is hardwood plywood with anti-slip tread on the platform and all steps, and the load capacity is 350 lb. The compact format suits small clinics, while larger centres use it to add community-mobility training to their gyms.
