PHS Pass-Through Rehabilitation Training Staircase

The Pass-Through Staircase lets patients rehearse stairs, one of the most important skills before discharge home, without leaving the therapy gym. Patients climb one side and descend the other, and the two step heights offer progression: two 6-inch steps for a standard stair rise and three 4-inch steps for patients who need an easier start, all leading to a 12-inch platform.

Every tread has anti-slip safety strips, and the aluminium handrails and 2-inch steel uprights carry an antimicrobial, antibacterial black powder coat. Stairs come in birch or maple wood, or maple laminate. The standard model (PTST-001-ALHR) measures 52 × 34 × 46 inches overall with a 9-inch tread; the ADA version (PTST-001-ALHR-ADA) has wider 11-inch treads and wider handrails with 12 inches of overhang. An 8-foot ceiling height is required.

Who uses it in the UAE: hospital rehabilitation gyms, orthopaedic and joint-replacement programmes, and neuro and paediatric therapy centres.
