Overview

The NeuroTrac TENS (ECS300A) from Verity Medical (UK) is a handheld transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator with two individually isolated channels.

It offers continuous, burst and modulated stimulation, pulse rates of 2–200 Hz and adjustable pulse width, with output up to 80 mA into a 500 Ω load. Eleven preset programmes cover pain relief as well as programmes listed for incontinence, sports and neuromuscular rehabilitation, and three programmes can be customised. A lock mode records home compliance — treatment time and intensity used — so the clinician can review how the device has been used between visits. A clear backlit display, large buttons and open-electrode detection make it straightforward for patients.

Who it is for: physiotherapy clinics issuing TENS for home use, pain clinics, and home users in the UAE under the guidance of a clinician. Not for use with cardiac pacemakers unless approved by a doctor.
