Overview

The NeuroTrac MyoPlus Pro (MYO120P) is Verity Medical's single-channel, full-colour touchscreen device for clinicians and supervised home users. It reads muscle activity through surface electrodes or probes and shows it as a live graph, so patients learn to contract and relax on cue; in ETS mode the device adds stimulation once the patient reaches a preset effort.

Manufacturer indications include stress and urge incontinence, pelvic pain, patellofemoral pain, muscle atrophy and upper-limb rehabilitation after stroke, plus TENS for general and back pain. Preset and programmable protocols, biofeedback games, voice prompts and electrode-placement guidance make sessions easy to run, while Bluetooth (up to 10 m) links to NeuroTrac PC Software for daily progress reports, and compliance locks support home programmes.

As with all electrotherapy, it is not for patients with demand-type pacemakers, and use in pregnancy, over the carotid sinus or across the chest requires medical advice.

Who uses it in the UAE: women's health and pelvic physiotherapists, urology and urogynaecology clinics, and neuro-rehabilitation centres.
