HUR Premium Line Pneumatic Strength Training Equipment

HUR (Finland) builds exercise equipment for active ageing, rehabilitation and inclusive wellness, drawing on almost 30 years of co-operation with researchers in biomechanics and exercise physiology. Its machines use pneumatic resistance: compressed air provides a smooth load with near-zero starting resistance and no heavy weight stacks, so even very deconditioned users can begin training safely.

On SmartTouch-equipped machines, the user signs in with a personal card or wristband and the machine automatically sets seat and lever positions and loads the prescribed programme, with resistance adjusted on a touch screen in 0.1 lb steps. Training data is recorded for the therapist to review, supporting HUR's medical concepts and structured training programmes. Accessible versions allow wheelchair users to train without transferring, with a removable chair for ambulant users.
