HUR Dip / Shrug Pneumatic Strength Machine

The HUR Dip / Shrug is part of HUR's upper-body range of air-resistance machines. As a dual-function station it trains shoulder depression (dip) and shoulder elevation (shrug), letting therapists build upper-limb strength without changing equipment.

Pneumatic resistance gives a smooth, joint-friendly load that starts from almost zero, so patients after surgery, stroke or long illness can begin training at a very low intensity and progress gradually. HUR machines are available as analogue models or with SmartTouch, which automatically sets the seat and lever position, loads each user's programme from a personal card or wristband, and adjusts resistance on a touch screen in 0.1 lb steps. Accessible versions let wheelchair users train in their own chair, with a removable seat for ambulant users.
