Overview

The HUR Abdomen / Back (STE5310-Hi5) is a pneumatic strength-training machine that targets the abdominal and lower-back muscles. As a dual-function core station it trains trunk flexion and extension on one machine.

Like every HUR machine it works with pneumatic (air) resistance instead of a weight stack. Training starts from a near-zero load and is raised in small steps, so frail, post-operative or deconditioned users can begin safely and progress at their own pace. In the SmartTouch version the machine identifies the user, loads their personal programme on the Hi5 touchscreen and records every set; an analogue-display version is also offered.

Key details include dual function for flexion and extension, reversible back support and roller and electrically adjustable seat height.

Who uses it in the UAE: hospital physiotherapy departments, rehabilitation and long-term care centres, senior and active-ageing clubs, and wellness facilities that want measurable, low-risk strength training.
