Overview
A video laryngoscope places a camera near the tip of the blade and shows the glottis on a screen, giving an indirect view of the upper airway. Compared with direct laryngoscopy, it can improve the Cormack-Lehane view of the glottis, particularly in difficult airways.
The HugeMed VL3R is the reusable model in HugeMed's video laryngoscope range: a handle with an integrated display is paired with reusable blades in different sizes that are cleaned and disinfected between patients according to the manufacturer's reprocessing instructions. Reusable systems suit departments with established reprocessing workflows and high intubation volumes.
