Overview
A video laryngoscope places a camera near the tip of the blade and shows the glottis on a screen, giving an indirect view of the upper airway. Compared with direct laryngoscopy, it can improve the Cormack-Lehane view of the glottis, particularly in difficult airways.
The HugeMed VL3D is the disposable model in HugeMed's range: the reusable video handle is used with single-use blades that are discarded after each patient. This removes blade reprocessing, keeps the device ready for immediate use and helps reduce cross-contamination risk — useful in emergency departments, ICUs and other areas where intubations are unplanned.
