Specifications

Type: Rocking floor seat

Overview

The Green Rocking Turtle Shell is a deep, bowl-shaped seat that rocks and spins on the floor. Children can sit, kneel or curl up inside it to read, rest or play, and the curved shell provides a cosy, enclosed feeling.

Rocking delivers soothing vestibular input that can help children calm down, while more active use builds balance and core strength. Turned over, the shell can also become a play piece for imaginative games.

Flexible, sensory-friendly furniture lets teachers give students a choice in how they sit, stand or move during lessons – an approach often recommended by occupational therapists for learners with sensory processing differences, attention difficulties or autism. ENZYM can help plan inclusive classrooms and calm areas. Contact ENZYM for available sizes, colours and dimensions.
