Overview

Both sets contain three balls in three degrees of hardness, colour coded as soft (pink), medium (lime) and hard (azure). This lets therapists start with a gentle ball and progress as tolerance improves.

The ball is rolled back and forth between a hard surface, such as a wall or the floor, and the body part being treated. The spiky set (balls approx. 6.5 cm) is also suited to coordination and sensorimotor exercises, while the smooth trigger ball set (balls approx. 6 cm) focuses on targeted pressure on trigger points. Both are easy to hand to patients for home use.
